Here is some lovely infrared footage of hedgehog courtship from last night.
The male hedgehog is running around like a mad thing in a seemingly vain attempt to get himself noticed by the female hedgehog, who is sitting inside the hedgehog feeding station and seems far more interested in eating!

Fascinating to watch, and listen to. I'm always surprised at how fast hedgehogs can move on those short legs.
