At last! A badger caught on video!

I suspected there was a badger visiting up at the top of the graveyard because of all the animal tracks. After weeks of leaving out the infrared motion detector trail cam and having caught footage of foxes, rabbits and squirrels, finally I get these few fleeting seconds of a badger.

  1. Hi GL, a much larger subject than the hedgehogs and so much more difficult to capture on video but well worth the effort.

  2. I'll share some of the fox video footage soon. I have the opposite problem with the fox though - I just have so much footage that it's difficult choosing the highlights.

  3. oh wow! I'm glad I found someone else who enjoys when the wildlife comes in this way. I used to live in an apartment where, one time, I had about three or four species one night, and I had a balcony so I could go out and watch them. I guess they were racoon, opposum, and maybe coyotes or foxes, but they were strange because they climbed up in the tree the branch of which extended to the balcony so I was slightly nervous and cautious. Needless to say, I went back inside. Okay, take care.
