This Redwing was outside my grandmother's flat this afternoon. There seem to be lots of thrushes in general around at the moment, including blackbirds, of course, and seasonal visitors in shape of fieldfares and redwings.
This is the first year iv seen them in the garden and around my neighbourhood, it shows its harsh winter when we see them demolishing the fruits and the berries off the trees, so iv been putting extra food out for them all.. What beautiful birds they are...Meadow..xx..
This blog was originally set up to make a record of hedgehog activity in my garden in South Oxfordshire, plus any other wild animals that crossed my path. However, I've since moved to Pembrokeshire in Wales. Luckily I have found hedgehogs here too, and I'm always on the look-out for other wildlife.

ReplyDeleteI have seen them before here in Wales, but none during the recent cold weather.
