She looks adorable. The little ones only have tiny feet but they make huge footprints in one's heart. It was a lovely thought that you were asked to name the little one. In the Spring time, will Mary be able to return the little girl back to you ? it's difficult if she has a lot to look after, but hopefully she might ...

We also found two little ones, 300g and 350g start of last week, so the female hedgie who had been visiting the garden had been in the family way after all (shows us we still have an awful lot to learn) and strangely enough, she hasn't appeared in the garden since the night before the night the first little one was found, so she must have felt she had to go down and that they were old enough to take care of themselves.twosiehedgehoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15972530472501847782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8005463701837752973.post-91377520831999790322011-10-25T16:53:59.226+01:002011-10-25T16:53:59.226+01:00How about Gwen? How about Gwen?Gigibirdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13171021812450232039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8005463701837752973.post-87085353744628478912011-10-17T13:24:54.331+01:002011-10-17T13:24:54.331+01:00Hi GL, all ours bar one have disappeared and are h...Hi GL, all ours bar one have disappeared and are hopefully hibernating happily. The one who still visits the garden is a female but we do not think she is in the family way and we think she is only visiting because it is still mild enough. The minute it gets really cold, she will disappear. We had a little baby turn up at the front mid July but she only came a few times and has not been seen since. So, other than that little one, we have not seen any hedgie babies this year, which is a great pity.twosiehedgehoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15972530472501847782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8005463701837752973.post-83306857867921192352011-10-07T20:16:02.737+01:002011-10-07T20:16:02.737+01:00Thanks! I used to live in an apartment where, one time, I had about three or four species one night, and I had a balcony so I could go out and watch them. I guess they were racoon, opposum, and maybe coyotes or foxes, but they were strange because they climbed up in the tree the branch of which extended to the balcony so I was slightly nervous and cautious. Needless to say, I went back inside. Okay, take care.Scott McLeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10190383698274363140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8005463701837752973.post-67487776787275380392011-03-12T11:02:35.515+01:002011-03-12T11:02:35.515+01:00I'll share some of the fox video footage soon....I'll share some of the fox video footage soon.
